FIS Career Day 2017

Grade 8-12 students spent the morning attending sessions on offer from over 20 guest speakers, beginning with moving a Keynote Address by Carsten Rübsaamen, CEO and Co-Founder of Bookbridge, on the topic of “The Power of Purpose.” Sessions included discussions on a range of careers, as well as skill-building topics such as developing portfolios for Art school applications, interviewing, LinkedIn profile building, and employability and soft-skills for the working world. As Mr. Rübsaamen and others encouraged students to find their “WHY,” the event’s aim was to inspire and support students on their personal journeys of career exploration.
