Teaching an After School Activity at the FIS

The FIS offers a broad and comprehensive after School Activity Program to its students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, that is taught by external and internal teachers.

If you are interested in teaching art, craft, sport, languages, specific games or entertaining and educational activities as an external teacher on a freelance basis at the FIS after school hours, please contact for more details.

Voluntary Services at the FIS

Voluntary Year of Social Service (Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr)

Every school year, the FIS offers up to three places for a Voluntary Year of Social Service in cooperation with the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK). This is a great opportunity for young people who have finished school and would like to collect experience in an international environment before starting university.

The next available opportunity to apply is for school year 2025/26 with a starting date either on August 15 or September 1, 2025.

Internships

The FIS offers internships for local students in every school section. 

Your application should include a cover letter and updated CV in English stating your preferred start and duration of the internship as well as your preferred school section and/or subject.
