Students at Teamwork in the Mountains

Rafts, Ropes and a Whole Lot of Teamwork!

Secondary

What happens when you give a group of Grade 7 students some ropes, a few challenges, and a lake? Plenty of creative ideas, a little trial and error, and some serious teamwork!

At Spitzingsee, our students put their problem-solving skills to the test, building rafts, experimenting with homemade catapults, mastering knots, and creating their own team identities with names and flags. Hiking added another dose of adventure, but the real challenge was figuring things out together: listening, sharing ideas, making decisions, and sometimes trying again when the first plan did not quite work.

And that was exactly the point. Plenty of laughter, new friendships, and the discovery that a good team can make even the trickiest challenge a lot more fun.
