Middle School Musical “Alice in Wonderland (Jr.)”

Arts

After six months of Friday afternoon rehearsals, along with two Saturday sessions from 13:00 to 16:00 over the past month, a lot of merry mayhem has continued to magnify in the Theater as the Middle School students practice for their musical production.

Alice in Wonderland is the story of a girl who disappears down a rabbit hole to a fantastic place full of bizarre adventures. Alice’s journey begins as she first chases the White Rabbit, then becoming even stranger as she races the dodo bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble blowing caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Other characters fascinate us as the story unfolds, including three Cheshire cats, a chorus of children playing in the park, rock lobsters, talking fish, royal cardsmen, unbirthday partiers as well as a group of mean-girl flowers.

We are very close to the final production time now, and the cast is eagerly anticipating showing the school community the performance in May. Ms. Raine, Ms. Lee and Ms. Hardwick are very proud of how keenly all of the students have been working towards putting on a wonderful show.

Join us on Wednesday, May 23, and/or Thursday, May 24. The show starts at 19:00 on both days. Please order your tickets online. One ticket costs 6 EUR.
