For our Grade 5 students, the recent Ammersee Camp was filled with adventure, discovery, and opportunities to learn in new ways.
Throughout the trip, students took part in a wide range of activities, including forest hikes, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, team games, bowling, campfire gatherings, and a movie night. Each experience encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, work together, and enjoy time with their classmates in a different environment.
While the camp was certainly a lot of fun, it also provided valuable opportunities for personal growth. Away from their usual routines, students developed independence, resilience, and confidence while strengthening their communication and teamwork skills. Whether they were tackling challenges together, supporting one another during activities, or simply sharing conversations and laughter throughout the day, students continued to build a strong sense of community.
Experiential learning plays an important role in a student’s development, and trips like Ammersee Camp help bring learning to life beyond the classroom. We are proud of how our Grade 5 students embraced every opportunity and made the most of this special experience.
