G1 Goes Down Under

The Aula turned into a bustling airport as Grade 1 embarked on an imaginative flight to Australia – all within the school walls. Boarding their “aircraft” in the FISBox, the young travelers touched down at several iconic Aussie destinations scattered throughout the building.

  • In 1A, students tried their hand at Aboriginal art and tested handmade boomerangs.

  • Next came an immersive journey through the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

  • A visit to the “Sydney Opera House” featured lively performances by Ms. Wong, Laura Baxter, Aksh, and Alisa.

  • The adventure wrapped up in the Taste Room, where everyone sampled classic Australian snacks.

The day overflowed with creativity, curiosity, and culture – thanks to all who helped bring this unforgettable Aussie experience to life!
