FIS Thrift Shop at the Christmas Fair

In-House

This year at the Christmas Fair there will be the very first FIS Thrift Shop! After consolidating the harmful impact, the fashion industry has on the environment and the fact that many of us have clothes we don’t wear, we initiated a project in which everyone from the FIS community (from toddlers to parents!) can donate clothes they don’t need and buy second-hand clothes at a low price.

If you donate, the clothes will be priced affordably and sold at the Thrift Shop at the Christmas Fair. All the money raised will be donated to CAMFED International (a charity that pays for girls’ and women’s education in Sub-Saharan Africa) and unsold clothes will be donated to Diakonie Erlangen, where they can be redistributed to local families in need.

Please bring in your donations (washed) in a bag (no underwear, socks, shoes or swimwear) and put them in the labeled container in FIS I next to the reception between November 3 and November 29. If you include your email on your donation bag, we will send you a 20% off voucher for your purchase at the fair!

Thank you in advance for donating and see you at the fair!
