The FIS recently welcomed Bully, a powerful one-man theatrical performance by American actor and writer Lee Kaplan, now based in the Netherlands. Drawn from Kaplan’s own life, the production has reached more than 30,000 students in schools and theaters across North America and Europe.
Performed for students in Grades 5–7, Bully combined humor and honest storytelling to tackle what bullying is – and isn’t – and what it means to stand up for yourself and others. The show created space for reflection and conversation, with students exploring its themes before and after the performance with their teachers, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and caring school community.
