BOOKBRIDGE Auction of Promises 2018

In-House

Thanks to the generosity of staff, students, parents and local businesses, we have a catalog full of interesting and exciting items and services. You will receive a link to the catalog which describes the items to be auctioned later this week by email.

Tickets cost 2 EUR per person and seats can be reserved using this form. Please pay for the tickets when you collect your bidder numbers from the cashier’s desk on the night.

The BOOKBRIDGE@the-FIS team are providing a free babysitting service for all Early Years and Elementary School children whilst the auction is in progress. Places are limited so please reserve them using the ticket reservation form above. We will be serving free popcorn and drinks as well as playing games and videos. It will be a fun place to be and will allow you to have some fun too at the auction!

If more than one person in your family would like to bid, please let us know so that we can allocate a bidder number to each of you! Only adults will be allowed to bid.

Doors will open at 18:30 when you can pick up your bidder numbers, drop your children off with the babysitting team and browse through the auction items on display. The auction will start at 19:00 and there will be an interval between 19:45 to 20:15. During the interval we will be holding a Dessert Dash, so make sure you take a look at the desserts on display when you come in. Depending on the ferocity of the bidding, the auction should finish around 21:00!

A bar serving wine, beer, soft drinks and nibbles will be available throughout the evening.

If you see something in the catalogue that you would like to bid on but you cannot attend the auction, you can still take part; just complete the Bids by Proxy which will be on page 5 of the catalogue (copies will alos be available in Reception from Monday) and return it to the school office by Thursday, December 7.

Bring some friends and enjoy a couple of hours of relaxed entertainment and furious bidding!
