All members of the association are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 19:00 in the FIS Theater.
We will present a recap of the school year 2023/2024 and share insights into the current school year 2024/2025. According to the FIS Articles of Association, a new FIS Board of Directors will be elected after the current Board of Directors’ term of office, which has been serving since May 2022, ends.
The FIS Board of Directors is comprised of ten members. Five board members, including the chairman, represent the associate members of the FIS. Another five board members are parents of FIS students. They represent the parent body.
Nominations for candidacy in the election should be submitted to BoardofDirectors@thefis.de in writing no later than March 5, 2025. Candidates are asked to introduce themselves during the General Assembly and share a brief statement about their motivation for joining the board.
We hope that you will attend the Association Meeting. Should you however be unable to attend the AGM and Board elections, you have the option to request a proxy vote. Please send your request to Bettina Wiegel () who will forward the necessary documents. Please join us in our efforts to ensure our continued success at the FIS.
