Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Develop a coherent, future-focused EdTech strategy
- Keep SLT abreast of developments in the EdTech field and advise them accordingly
- Monitor external developments (e.g. Large Language Models, university and workforce requirements)
- Plan and manage a sustainable multi-year EdTech budget aligned with learning outcomes and in collaboration with Network
- AdministrationPartner closely with Network Administration to support educational innovation
Teaching, Learning & Curriculum
- Develop a digital literacy curriculum EY – G12 and horizontally align it with other curricular areas
- Lead with innovative EdTech approaches for impactful classroom implementationDesign and deliver targeted EdTech professional learning for staff
Systems, Infrastructure & Operations
- Lead on educational development of curriculum and learning management systems and respective workflows
- Review and advise on EdTech infrastructure needs
- Develop and implement strategy for managing and reviewing filtering and monitoring systems in collaboration with Network Administration
Safeguarding, Wellbeing & Community
- Develop and implement policies on online safety, digital citizenship, and wellbeing in collaboration with the safeguarding and pastoral teams
- Ensure GDPR and data privacy compliance across all EdTech use
- Lead parental engagement through workshops and guidance on parenting in the digital age in collaboration with the counseling and pastoral teams
- Review and monitor educational apps and software for safety and suitability
The ideal candidate
- A leadership track record in EdTech strategy, coaching, technology integration and curriculum development
- Strong communication, coaching, and change-management skills
- Deep knowledge of learning platforms (e.g., Toddle, ManageBac)
