G3 students in a mosque

G3 Exploring Belief Systems

Primary

As part of their PYP Belief Systems unit, our Grade 3 students spent the day visiting both a mosque and a church. The experience opened space for meaningful conversations and new perspectives, moments that go far beyond a regular school day.

One of the most memorable activities was when students lit a candle and shared their reflections. The visits offered a chance to see how different faiths and practices are lived out in harmony. Students observed, asked thoughtful questions, and considered similarities and differences, developing respect for traditions beyond their own.

Through experiences like these, our young learners are encouraged to grow in curiosity, respect, and appreciation for the diverse world around them.
