Do you want to learn a new language and a new culture? According to a survey conducted by Ethnologue, there are more than 7,000 languages spoken around the world. But only two of them exceed one billion: English and Mandarin Chinese. Chinese characters have the history of several thousand years. The Chinese characters, originated from pictures, were people’s depiction of things, or the original hieroglyphical characters.
Do you want to have a try to combine writing and drawing? You can step into Chinese learning from now on. We will learn simple Chinese words and conversation, like “hello”, “bye” and “thanks”. Also, we will introduce Chinese cultures like festivals, fairies, art and cooking. It may be your first time to write with a brush, to paint a panda in ink, to cut a paper window decoration…You are welcome to join us.
