Students from Primary School talking in circles

A Different Kind of Assembly

Primary

Last week, our Primary School assembly looked a little different. Instead of the usual format, students gathered in circles to focus on building community and connection.

Teachers shared moments of students living out our FIS community expectations, and students shared about themselves, creating space for listening and understanding. These circles are part of the restorative practices we are continuing to grow in Primary, helping students strengthen relationships and a sense of belonging.

Each circle helps us strengthen the foundations of a caring and connected school community.
