Come and join this exciting sport for both girls and boys. If your child would like to try a team sport, that incorporates moving the whole body and using the brain, then touch rugby could be it. The course will both teach the children the fundamentals of the game of touch rugby, but will also include a variety of other general rugby skills to get familiar with the oval-shaped ball such as kicking, throwing, and catching.
Please be clear, touch rugby is a great non-contact form of the game of rugby and is becoming very popular around the world for both girls and boys.
During the course, participants will have the opportunity to get outdoors and get active, whilst improving their eye-hand-foot coordination, spatial awareness, handling skills and get to play practice matches.
Due to the construction site on the FIS sports field, we’ll play on the SpVgg sports fields across the FIS. We’ll meet at 15:45 near the Gym changing rooms and walk to the sports field as a group. Parents pick up will be at the FIS (near the outside Gym entrance) at 17:00.
