St. Martin Walk organized by PTO

PTO

On Thursday, November 10, 2016 the PTO organized the traditional St. Martin Walk for EY and ES students. After the school day the story of St. Martin was told in the Aula. Martinswecken (traditional bread rolls made on St. Martin) were distributed to be shared amongst the children.

After that a walk around the neighbourhood started while singing songs the children had practiced with their music teachers and carrying their lit-up lanterns. The procession passed the Altersheim and shared a song with the senior people.

At the end everyone gathered back at the FIS for a Glühwein, Kinderpunsch, Martinswecken and other snacks.

A big thank you goes to Ulrica Geissler and Tara Allen for organizing!
