Transport Service

The FIS offers a Transport Service to families living within FIS bus zones further than an approximate 2km radius of the school. Families who live outside FIS bus zones may bring their children to a predetermined meeting or pickup point and take part in the FIS Transport Service from that point onwards. For any inquiries relating to localities served by our transport system in the current school year or to forward your request to use the FIS Transport Service, please use the email address bus@the-fis.de.

For the 2011-2012 school year, a bus fee will apply. The final costs for the bus fees will be determined as soon as the exact number of applicants and seats required have been established and, therefore, may vary from the exact figures mentioned in the Terms of Use of the FIS School Bus Transport Service. Students who are unable to come to school in the morning should call their bus driver or the bus hotline number 0179-6846822 directly. Information concerning changes to arrangements for bus transportation home from school should be sent to bus@the-fis.de at the latest by 13.00 on that day. We cannot guarantee that short notice requests made by telephone will be received in time to be implemented. Requests for transportation on other bus lines for particular days or for private reasons will not be considered.
