Parent-Teacher-Organisation

The PTO is the Parent Teacher Organisation (PTO) of the Franconian International School (FIS). Every parent of the FIS is a member of the PTO.
The purpose the PTO is to support the school’s mission through

• promoting  understanding and international friendship within the FIS community and supporting new families to settle down comfortably in their new surroundings and
• raising funds by enlisting and coordinating help from parents in activities and initiatives for the benefit of the school and the students.

The PTO Executive Board
The PTO Executive Board is a volunteer group of parents that provide support to the School in a variety of ways. Through special events, school enrichment activities and family support we encourage cooperative interaction between all members of the FIS community.

Our Events
Some of the PTO activities are as follows:
- Arranging Welcome Coffee Mornings
- Collating a PTO Parent Contact List
- Arranging Open PTO meetings
In addition, the PTO organizes the following events:
Halloween, St. Martin, Fasching and the International Fair
