FIS MUN In House Conference: The Question of Kosovo

Secondary

MUN’s second In-house conference held on Saturday, 4 February was more than successful, and we were glad to see almost all members of the club on an early Saturday morning. The debate was on the Independence of Kosovo, a question which has been discussed in the world for years now. The FIS MUN passed a resolution at the end of the meeting, not permitting the independence of Kosovo.

Have a different opinion on the topic? We would love to have new students joining the club and taking part in the next fruitful debate! MUN is all about being engaged with global issues, representing different countries and discussing the different point of views. We love to debate in MUN, yet we are also listeners. All members have the opportunity to address their ideas and make their voices heard.

We also travel to other countries several times a year to attend conferences held by other schools and these are absolutely amazing experiences, and great opportunities to meet new people. Students interested are definitely welcome to join! We meet every Monday after school at 15:45 to 16:45 in 3.003 (FIS 1).
