About Us

Committed to High-Profile Education

The FIS mission states that it is “a values-based and caring environment, where young people are supported in becoming active and engaged global citizens and life-long learners”. This encapsulates the power of the community; how much we can achieve when we work together. As you explore our website and social media platforms you will soon discover that the FIS offers students and families not just an excellent school, but also a community. We are inspired by this vision and to extend this principle of community further; to realize that by learning and living together with respect, each one of us within the community becomes greater in terms of actualizing our individual potential.

With world-class staff, a wonderfully supportive Board of Directors, extensive facilities, an active and positive Parent Teacher Organization, and a remarkable student body, the FIS has much to offer families in the Nürnberg, Erlangen, Fürth and Herzogenaurach area.

I firmly believe that every child can exceed and that the cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students. So our students can use their highest potential to shape their future, consequently, the future of our societies. At the FIS we all learn together to achieve our highest accomplishments.
